I believe that being seen by others is valuable BUT being seen by yourself is priceless!

While the world is changing and evolving in aspects that are producing phenomenal inventions and achievements but for women they are still lagging behind, they’re still pushing, and still faced with a range of challenges that prevent them from reaching their goals, their successes, and their ability to get ahead in business, in life, in love, etc.

Despite the fact that we have more groups for women than ever before women still make less money than their counterparts and although they are amazing leaders they seldom recognized or selected  in high-rating positions.

I completely understand. Life is hard, especially during COVID. Women are bearing the brunt of it with losing more work hours than men, or feeling like they have no choice but to exit the workplace to keep up with the added demands of having everyone at home 24/7. It’s not just working women that feel the strain. COVID aside, bullying/cyberbullying is taking a tangible toll on women of all ages, especially teens. Some women are in the sandwich generation, caring for aging parents and young kids. Some are mourning the premature loss of a child, others are mourning an empty nest. All women have burdens that cause them to lose sight of themselves.

Photography really is transformational. Just take a look at these before and afters. When a woman has the time and space to feel empowered, her confidence shows. That confidence doesn’t end when they leave the studio. They carry it with them and whenever the cares of life get them down, they have a stunning portrait to remind them of what they actually look like to the world.

I believe when women can see themselves outside of their own self circle and actually allow others to show them what/how the world sees them it will change their life, they way they live, their relationships, the way they do business, their growth, their confidence and their determination to stand in their own power and  make a difference in themselves, in their daughters AND their sons, and in the there future of other women.
